At the Bristol chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, we are thankful for volunteers, trustees, donors, and sponsors who help make a continued difference in the lives of children everyday through our organization.  Each year, the Bristol Chapter is honored to give the Mary Kenner Sadler Volunteer of the Year Award to someone who has made an outstanding difference in the lives of children, someone who has gone above and beyond what was asked of them.  This award is given in honor of the wife to the late General Tom Sadler who served as the Executive Director of Speedway Children's Charities.

Ms. Samantha Fry was the 2016 recipient of the Mary Kenner Sadler Volunteer of the Year Award.  Samantha is the Assistant Manager of Safety and Facility Readiness at Bristol Motor Speedway.  While Samantha's job at BMS is her main focus, she enjoys making time to support Speedway Children's Charities.  She has a heart for children and helping those less fortunate.  Samantha recently shared with our staff the importance of Speedway Children's Charities and what it meant to her, "Through SCC grants, meals are being provided for children and after school care programs for parents in need. Grants are also helping to fund agencies that provide safe and supportive environments for survivors of sexual and domestic abuse to reclaim their lives.  SCC is reclaiming lives! You can't help but smile when you think about the difference SCC is making."
