As 2020 comes to a close, Speedway Children’s Charities – Las Vegas Chapter isn’t letting COVID-19 get in the way of holiday fundraising. Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is back this year to host visitors through a 2.5-mile drive-thru course featuring five million twinkling LED lights, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting SCC – Las Vegas. This event, combined with the annual PJ 5K, makes up the largest portion of annual funds for the Las Vegas chapter, which is on pace for a record-breaking year. Over the last 10 years, Glittering Lights has contributed nearly $1 million dollars to the Las Vegas Chapter!  Glittering Lights is open nightly until Jan. 10, 2021.

In addition to the HOLIDAY light show, SCC – Las Vegas is raffling off two one-of-a-kind holiday Zoom experiences. For a $10 donation, fans have the chance to win a five- to 10-minute Zoom call with Santa who will read your kids the story, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” or a 20-minute virtual meet-and-greet with Elsa from Frozen! Elsa will talk with your kids, share a virtual story, answer questions and sing a little song just for your family! The winner will be selected during a live drawing that will be broadcast on the chapter's Facebook page on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020 at 12 Noon PT.
