Speedway Children’s Charities Facility Refresh Grant presented by Home Pros and 97.3 Love FM
Speedway Children’s Charities is welcoming applications for a one-time facility refresh grant. In partnership with Home Pros, a local remodeling organization, this grant is dedicated to maintenance items on the exterior of your current facility.
As we all know, grants allocated specific funds for property and building maintenance are difficult to come by. But this grant is unique in that labor and materials are awarded rather than designated monies. The recipient of this grant will receive a professional refresh to the exterior of your facility. The recipient will also receive a free, on-site consultation with a Home Pros Project Manager in order identify repair, remodel and maintenance needs. Following consultation, Home Pros will establish an exact, written scope of work.
Eligibility
In order to qualify for the grant, the applying organization must (1) own the property where the work will occur; (2) be located within the Tri-Cities (Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, TN), Jonesborough, Bristol, VA, Abingdon, VA.
Services provided may include any of the following: pressure washing; exterior/siding repair; painting and/or staining; gutter repair, cleanout, or reattachment; window and door trim repair; exterior illumination; light landscaping such as mulch installation, tree and shrub trimming (no removal), porch/deck repair or construction; awning repair or construction.
Award
Speedway Children’s Charities and Home Pros will award the grant recipient with a total value of $15,000 in labor and materials provided by Home Pros.
