Speedway Children’s Charities is excited to continue the legacy event started by Sherry Pollex and the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation in 2009, by partnering with NASCAR and NFL stars for this year's Catwalk for Causes on Tuesday, Sept.16. The Greg Olsen’s HEARTest Yard, the Kyle & Samantha Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, and the Kyle Larson Foundation will strut their stuff at Ten Tenths Motor Club and raise awareness for the programs important to each charity partner.
Hosted by NASCAR analyst and Speedway Children’s Charities board member Adam Alexander and motorsports veteran driver and broadcaster Erin Evernham, the event will feature live and silent auctions, musical guests and a lively after-party. The highlight of the evening will be when children take the stage in a spirited fashion show. While the stage will be flanked with some of Sunday’s biggest names, all eyes will be on the ones walking beside them, as the children who are facing some of their biggest battles will have their moment in the spotlight, raising funds and awareness for the programs important to each organization across the Charlotte region.
The star-studded night will build off the late Sherry Pollex’s legacy of empowering children and give those facing their toughest battles a moment to be a kid. Over the last 15 years, the event has raised more than $5 million. Pollex’s mission will continue through the impact these charities make in the lives of children across the Carolinas.
