The Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities would like to congratulate our winners from the SCC activities held during Ford Fan Day on Saturday, April 25. The cold, windy, rainy weather didn't keep these guests from coming out, having a great time and walking away winners!
Lisa Paxton won the Sterling Marlin Ride-Along from our online auction for her husband Larry, who had a great time talking to Sterling during their meet-and-greet. Although the weather kept Larry from taking the actual pace car ride with Sterling, he was able to have a private meet-and-greet in a Kentucky Speedway Luxury Suite where Sterling shared stories about racing and home life, autographed some items for Larry and took photos with him as well. All in all, it was a great experience for the group, and we loved having them on-site for this opportunity!
Additionally, SCC held a Putt-Putt Challenge during the event. From this activity, Abigail Masterson walked away with a Coke 4 Pack for the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts on Saturday, July 11. This will allow her and three guests to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and enjoy a Coke product and hot dog for free. Congratulations Abigail and we look forward to seeing you at the race in July!
