Speedway Children's Charities is proud to announce that Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Roush Fenway Ford Fusion, will return for the third consecutive year as the organization's national spokesperson.

"I am honored to be the national spokesperson for a great organization like Speedway Children's Charities," said Edwards. "The great thing about Speedway Children's Charities is that when you donate a dollar you can be sure that the dollar goes to help children. No one is doing this for any reason other than to make sure that the funding goes to the right places and helps children in need."

As spokesperson, Edwards will participate in a variety of charitable events benefiting SCC, as well as bring awareness to the organization through his corporate sponsors and various media opportunities.

"We are excited to have Carl Edwards return for a third year as our National Spokesperson," said Saundy Hutto, National Director of New Business Development and Marketing for Speedway Children's Charities.

"His passion to help is very refreshing. Carl has been an instrumental
part in helping to get our message out to a broad spectrum of supporters. He has a very demanding schedule and we are so grateful he allows Speedway Children's Charities to be a part of it."

There are SCC chapters at seven Speedway Motorsports, Inc., facilities: Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Infineon Raceway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway. Throughout the year, SCC will host a number of charitable events at each track. For a complete list of events visit www.speedwaycharities.org/events.
